Trinidad and Tobago Joins Three WIPO Treaties

WIPO Director General Francis Gurry welcomes Trinidad and Tobago accession to three key WIPO treaties – the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances, the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks and the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons who are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled. Ambassador Makeda Antoine-Cambridge, Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, said joining these treaties is important for both the people and the economy of her country.
