Panelists Discuss Policy Ramifications at Meeting on AI and IP

Panelist discussed the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the intellectual property (IP) system and IP policy at the WIPO Conversation on Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence (http://ow.ly/SXzG50wtewM) at WIPO headquarters in Geneva on September 27, 2019.

The conference provided member state delegates and others with an opportunity to exchange views on AI and IP policy. As AI’s growth across a range of technical fields prompts IP-related policy questions, the meeting focused on the impact of AI on IP systems, IP policies, IP rights management, and international cooperation on IP matters.
