LOS ANGELES – 27 September 2019 – Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced it is soliciting information from vendors qualified to provide global audit services for the ICANN organization’s Contractual Compliance department. The intent is to identify a qualified audit vendor who will be responsible for providing registry and registrar audit services to verify compliance obligations under ICANN agreements.
Expertise in performing audits and knowledge of the domain name industry are necessary to ensure an effective and high quality audit implementation.

ICANN will review the initial indications of interest via this RFI process and will issue a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) with necessary details to selected bidders.
Indications of interest should be sent via email to Compliance.Audit.Services-RFI@icann.org. ICANN will provide interested parties with access to the ICANN sourcing tool (SciQuest/Jaggaer). Responses to the RFI should be electronically submitted by 23:59 UTC on 24 October 2019 using ICANN’s sourcing tool.
ICANN’s mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique, so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
